Road Construction
(Updated June 6, 2025) State Hwy 140 South of Clinton is still closed. This map shows how to get to Clinton if you're coming up Hwy 76 from Illinois.
County X west of Clinton is completed and is now open!
Beginning June 16th (weather permitting) the north part of State Hwy 140 will also be closed, from I-43 all the way to Hwy 14. If you're coming from the west (Janesville), take I-39/90 to I-43 or Cty J south if you want to avoid the interstates. From the east (Whitewater), take Hwy 14 south to either I-43 or Cty X.
Both of these Hwy 140 projects are expected to last through the Fall.
