My Favorite Color is Moda Sew Along

The quilt is designed as 81” x 99” but we will show you how you can easily make the blocks into two smaller quilts 59” x 81” (before optional borders).

 

Options 1, 2, and 3 include:

  • The pattern for free.
  • Facebook tips from us and Moda, 2-3 times each month.
  • First Saturday Gathering, 30-45 minutes of in person construction tips, fabric placement help, show & tell. Stay for Open Sew and get help with the piecing, if desired (space is limited). Additional dates for Open Sew are available. One free time each month.
  • Bring in your finished block each month and receive one free fat quarter (one per month).

To participate, choose one of these four options: 

1) Prepay for all the fabric

You have control of which fabric goes where; a little extra fabric is included for this. The pattern is written for solids but we will be using print fabrics. Pick from our three colorways (Retro, Floral or Traditional) or come into the shop and we will help you pick out your favorites.

2) Block of the Month **SOLD OUT**

Pick up a fabric kit each month and pay as you go. We tell you each month which fabrics go where. Pick from our three colorways. You will have more smaller fabric leftovers in the long run with this option. You may need additional fabric to make the blocks into two smaller quilts.

Total value $295, your cost $12-$29 per month

 

3) Use your stash

Besides all of the free items mentioned above, you will receive a $125 gift certificate to use throughout the year on fabric (backing?), longarm quilting service, batting, etc.
